Highly recommend the beef balls, brisket, and flank. But we found extra charges for side dishes we didn’t order, and it couldn’t be resolved. The meat seems to be limited in quantity, and ordering is somewhat complicated.

Overall: 6/7 Truly a no frills Chinese beef hotpot restaurant. Perhaps one of the least accommodating restaurants I’ve ever been to for non-Chinese people, but you can definitely make it work if you try hard enough - they have lots photos on the wall for you to point to. CASH OR WECHAT PAY ONLY!! It’s also super easy to order just a set menu and let the food roll in. You likely won’t have any idea what you’re ordering, but it’ll be delicious. They recently upgraded their menu to have a lot more pictures so it’s… better. Still, the soup is delicious and authentic (you can see the beef chunks they used to make it still). All the portions are generous and high quality - only cooking them for ~30s is enough. Refer to pictures for some indication of what we good and what was good… we liked the Chuck cuts and the oyster blade surprisingly. Would not recommend their beef casserole congee actually - better to order a different one. The beef one just tastes like the soup and rice… which you already have easy access to. For set menus, recommend you order one tier lower than it recommends, it’s a lot of food if you’re not all big eaters. E.g., party of 5, order the 3-4 set menu.

Amazing hand cut beef so fresh and delicious! amazing side dishes the stir fried vermecelli noodles were so good! Don’t forget the home made dipping sauce ! Great value! If you like authentic chaoshan beef , this is a must visit
